Interesting Phanatic info. He helped dedicate the new auditorium wing at the school I worked at back in 2004. He arrived at backstage entrance and we helped Tom carry the costume. It smelled heavily of lemon oil. He said there are small bags soaked with lemon oil attached inside. . He sweats so much and you can only clean the costume occasionally. He works hard wearing that thing.

I’ve been patiently waiting for my replacement awnings for the picture window and garage. Until the tornado blew over some trees out front I didn’t need them. 2 bedroom windows are shade by red maple. The heat just bakes the lr and garage even with curtains closed. Using existing U shaped pipe frame for garage as they are small and easy to reach. LR is 10’ so I got a crank down cassette awning that tucks under the soffit and stays up year round.
Installers are working but slowed down by one guy yappin after he saw my deer mounts thru the window. Promised them a pack of deer sticks AFTER they finish. Seemed to speed up the work 😆 Pics later.

I have to sight in my crossbow, rifles, buy new broadheads etc. i have not done any scouting, just not super motivated to do anything. feels more like work than fun. i am sure it will change in the next couple of weeks.

projects around the house, concerts, and fishing that's been the theme of my summer. need to atleast sight in my 22lr soon as squirrel hunting is only a few weeks away.

Fixing a walk in cooler. Took 2.5 hours to find the tiniest of leaks. Repaired. Pressure tested. Vacuumed and charged.

One more freezer, then calling it a day...
Bet the sniffer was warblering like crazy.
Fun story.Buddy changed all the gas orifices in a commercial kitchen, propane to natural gas. A lot of them. Used pipe dope out of a used bottle with brush. Soap bubble tested , all good then used sniffer. Well that thing wouldn’t stop beepin. Every single orifice! Tried another sniffer, same deal. Re soap tested, all good. ?????? Figured out the brush got contaminated from a different job and must have been some refrigerant oil on brush. Trashed the bottle.
