I'd bet that Vaseline works just as well than a known name rail lube.
String lube, I would get only what is manufactured for crossbow strings.

You do know that each time you cock or shoot your crossbow your string rubs on the rail lube so if you would only use the string lube recommended by the manufacturer why would you use something else for rail lube? Makes no sense.
