It takes a knack to fish them like nymph fishing does. I was fishing a hole with a slow current flowing through. A fisherman came down to me and ask me how I was doing, i told him I caught a couple but I guess I had hooked them all. He said mind if I try it. I told him to go ahead I didn't own the stream. He caught 4 trout in about 10 minutes on a goldish colored trout magnet. I told him I had some but could never catch anything on them. He said watch my bobber and I will tell you when one hits it. It barely wiggled and he said there one just picked up and dropped it. He tossed it above the same spot and as soon as it started to stop he hooked it and landed a 11" brown. Thats probably why I didn't catch any on them because I was waiting for a hit not a slight movement.
