I'm looking to spend a few days in the 2024 deer rifle season at either of these SGL's. I did some initial looking at the maps provided by the state and SGL 64 is bordered by the Susquehannock State Forest while SGL 208 is bordered by Tioga State Forest - both which the DCNR says can be hunted on. Seems like more than ample land around.
Any background on whether one of the SGL is more mountainous than the other? Am most interested in trying to find a place that does not have crazy terrain so that I can hunt with the future father-in-law. He has hunted up in Potter county.
Any stories of successful hunts appreciated too - would love to hear them.
