Looking to sell my Remington 270 model 700 stainless. Used maybe a handful of times with scope. How much is it worth to sell.

If that is around an early/early 90`s model I paid $425- $450 for a new one in .270 back then. It was a 700 BDL Stainless/Synthetic. Great rifle. Should have kept it.
New, if you can find them, they can be had for $700-$750. If you sell it on GB or the like, you can get $700-$1000 depending on how patient you are. Play up the fact that it is an original Remington Arms rifle, and include lots of photos to support any condition claims. I sell a lot of friends firearms collections, and have found that spending time on the write-up pays off. Also, if you don't have to sell it, leave the auction running. Start it at $700, and you will find the right butt for that seat.
P.S. Spend some time on the photos. Armor-all the stock, and make sure it is clean. Photograph it against a dark background, and remove the sling, roll it up and place it next to the rifle. Include shots of the clean action with the bolt open. You will be surprised how clear photos of a good looking gun increase the price.
