Dose any one know the heat value of primaloft vs thinsulate and how they compare each other? I'm looking at a pair of Under Armor coldgear gloves it says 6 oz of primaloft. I have a pair of Guide gear that I wore this rifle season that were 60 grams of Thinsulate which my hands froze in.

I use thin UA liner gloves and a hand muff with thinsulate and hand warmers. That is the combo that works for me. I have never been able to find gloves alone that would keep my hands warm. I do like thin gloves because I dont lose feeling with the trigger on the rifle or feeling with my bow.

I do the exact same thing, I like wearing a thin pair of gloves. I bring extra heavier gloves with me but barely ever use them.
