This is the real possum expert.

 

Interesting read, I have been seeing alot of them on my work in the mornings and assumed it was there breading season. There is no shortage of them in central PA. Also did not realize that they are not one of the big nest raiders like many people assumed. Thanks for posting that!

Have seen hundreds if not thousands of possum play dead and not one had its tounge out. Caught 13 in one check twice.

 

Possums get no respect

 

Possums are fierce. They may play dead for us but they will take on a larger coon. Most often the coon retreats. No kidd. Caught a very small Possum in the mountains that was the meanest critter I ever caught. Pound for pound it was the winner.
A rare Possum double. I used to catch alot of Possums, but doubles were very rare.
