Lyman's 49th edition reloading manual has been my go-to guide for years. Has anyone seen the 50th edition? Is it anything worth buying? Are a lot of the newer calibers/powders/bullets able to be found online instead?

50th edition is a great manual, but I always prefer to use Powder manufacturer’s data. I think all the main powder brands publish for free. Alliant will even send you a free hard copy of their load data if you give them a mailing address. And given the sporadic nature of bullet availability at the moment you may not be able to find the exact bullet and powder combos from the Lyman book anyway.

I would tell anyone who didn’t have a copy of the Lyman manual to get one, but unless it’s one of the “new” cartridges that you want data for I doubt you will get much benefit from it.

Ad they say, “free advice, worth what you paid for it!”
