Hey folks, I have been duck/goose hunting for about three years and have hunted "Area J" before. Due to a dirtbike injury and broken humerus bone, i wont be able to hunt this year. So, I'm trying to learn more about Pymmie for next season.

I have a kayak and a jon boat set up with blinds, but I can't find a map of restricted area and non-restricted areas. I dont want to hunt in an area im not allowed to.

So, does anyone have a map of where we can and cannot hunt ducks/geese? Can you anchor your boat in the middle of the lake, set up decoys, and just start blasting?

Thanks, Chase D

The link I posted contains a detailed map that clearly shows what areas hunting is permitted, both on the land and on the water. Dark green and light green on land, hunting permitted. Dark blue on water, hunting permitted. Light blue on water, hunting prohibited.

Consider that small area of water that's listed as SGL 214 that's right off of Hartstown. When I was a kid I spent many summers and the first week of rifle on my Grandparents farm very close by. I know there are lots of duck\geese that fly into\over that little piece....I do not know how heavy the hunting pressure is. Access can be done.....IIRC....right off of RT 322. Your boat\kayak will be a must to navigate this area.
