Anybody ever shoot a flintlock from inside a camo blind,i got a camo blind for Christmas and was wondering if it was safe to fire the gun from inside,the flash from the pan has me concerned about the blind catching fire.

I,ve done it and weather permitting I,ll be in one first light.Poke your barrel out of the blind and stay near the center or left side of the blind if your a right hand shooter since your concerned of goin up in flames.
Naw..... just make sure the passenger side window is rolled all the way down. Really tho, no worries. Small blind may get a lil smokey, but not likely to burn. Good luck and have a great season
Tried it Once, ONCE!!! Pa. Flintlock season. Was too dark inside to see open iron sights and just before dark a nice shooter buck came by. had to pass on him,
I put the gun out the big window, supported by crossstick, just a short broomhandle split in two with a wingnut and bolt. It can get hard to see first thing in am and pm. Biggest issue is length of the gun, all mine are customs not tc's or Lyman, managable but not with a smaller blind or two people.....
