Birds acting weird this year

I am getting lost on how to hunt birds this year. I am seeing and hearing birds. But it seems that all the gobblers do not want anything to do with the hens on the properties I am hunting. Everyday I have called in hens which will stay around for over an hour at a time, and they arent making a sound. During this time I see gobblers on the other end of the field by themselves. I had one coming in the other day, then just went the other way when he saw the hen between me and him. Plus I think its weird how the hens are staying out in the fields all morning feeding and not going to nests or trying to breed.
The last two times I hunted have had a gobbler hot on the roost then flys down and goes the other way.

Anyone have any ideas how to approach these birds? Its getting frustrating getting hens to come in but not getting a gobbler. Plus I think I am hidden enough because I had hen as close as 5 feet without busting me.

Maybe some gobbler yelps or clucks. The gobblers seem to be grouped more this year than any other year I have seen.

Called in a group of 6 gobblers, A group of 4, a group of 5 not quite in range and heard several others gobbling in group 5-8 gobblers.
