Banded Golden-Eye and Old Squaw Mounts finally!!!!

Got these two awesome birds in two consecutive days! The picture of te group of birds are all old squaw hens except for the female Golden-Eye. Never got a picture of the Drake Old Squaw becasue as soon as I shot it I put it in a stockingto keep the feathers ok for the taxidermist

Nice mounts. A banda Goldeneye is quite rare. From the DU magazine March/April 2008 issue they had a section on banded birds and from 1914 to 2004 there were 18,907 banded Common goldeneyes with 2,398 bands reported. I cut this piece out and kept it with a goldeneye that I shot in 2004 that was also banded in 2002.
