Arrow specs?

Curious what everyone’s arrow specs are, currently shooting GoldTip 340s. Just had some new Black Eagles made up, going heavier, 300 spine, with 150 grains up front.

I have enough acc 3-39 440 spine to last me the rest of my life. My last 4 buck I have yet to break an arrow. These with 125 exodus out of my #51 hoyt seem to work fine. They are about 400 grains even.

2005 Mathews Switchback, 63#, lowered from 29" to 28" DL. Anally tuned, lol.
300 spine Gold Tip @9.3 grains per inch. 250 grains up front between inserts and broadhead. Total weight of 562 grains with about 18% FOC.
Very little trajectory difference from my old 340's @435 grains at normal bowhunting ranges. It does drop off a lot quicker past 30 yards. My bow went from quiet to almost silent and I love the feel in my hand.

Been shooting these BH's (in 200grns) the last couple of years and love the results.

300 gt xt at just under 28" with standard inserts and 100gr head.My bow is a 29" Prime revex at 29".I fooled with the same arrow and 100gr brass inserts last year and saw now benefit.Never weighed my current arrows but assume they'r +/-400 gr which is heavier than what I used to shoot with no issues.

What are your bow specs? Just curious
That's also an important piece of the equation (speed x mass).

I've never been a speed chaser, but I remember when some of the "speed bows" were just getting over 250 fps and all the criticism about how you don't need that kind of speed to kill a deer, lol.

Of course, as bows became better, even the 'slower" bows benefitted from the better technology. I won a Mathews Virtex two years ago and gave it to my oldest son. It was a much better bow than my old (2005) Switchback (and much faster), but I love my old bow. It was never super fast, even at 72# @ 29". A few years ago, I lowered my DL to 28" for hunting in very cold weather with heavy clothing and a draw weight of 63#, so my arrow speed is not fast.

Last year, the buck I shot with the 562 grn. arrow with a 200 grn. Afflictor BH was standing broadside at 15 yards and just as I released he turned slightly quartering to me. The arrow disappeared. I was pretty sure I heard him crash up the other side of the thick hollow, but I waited three hours til I got down. He made it 150 yards and after inspection, I clipped his scapula, got the near side lung, liver, guts and shattered the femur bone of his far side rear leg. After skinning him at home, I found the last 8" of the arrow and fletching still in his leg but the rest of the arrow and BH had completely passed through. I went back a few days later and found that part (with no damage to the BH).
