In the early 60's my dad and one of my uncle's would take a pick-up truck to the plant in Milton and buy cases of Chef Boyardee can goods that were dented for less than 50%. My family and a lot of neighbors had many meals in those days. I guess they aren't allowed to sell the dented cans anymore due to liability. I don't know of anyone who got sick at that time, but I guess our immune system was stronger back then.
