A lot of people over there spent their life putting 3 meatballs in each can.

 

I saw a thing on the history channel about him that was interesting. Always have a can of Beefaroni in the panty, wife just shakes her head but I like it for something quick.

 

In the early 60's my dad and one of my uncle's would take a pick-up truck to the plant in Milton and buy cases of Chef Boyardee can goods that were dented for less than 50%. My family and a lot of neighbors had many meals in those days. I guess they aren't allowed to sell the dented cans anymore due to liability. I don't know of anyone who got sick at that time, but I guess our immune system was stronger back then.

My grandfather worked for HEINZ and they had the same deal dented cans & broken cases were sold to employees for pennys on a dollar his basement looked like a local grocery store soup aisle…
