I don't think I want her meat.
That is not dark hair on her back. This doe is dying a slow death. She has little to no fat reserves left.I have seen a lot of skinny looking deer in summer. Looks like she still has her summer coat but the winter coat may be coming in on her back. Some deer I see have a distinctive black line of hair down the center of their backs. Hard to tell if that is dark hair on her back or her skin.
No healthy doe coming out of summer looks that way. None. It is obvious the doe is not healthy, whether it be from very old age or illness or disease.Nothing, a doe coming out of summer looking to put weight on before winter.
