TSS shoots great, is more dense, penetrates better, patterns tight. And it will cripple just as good as any other shot when misused. You should not shoot farther than your gun can carry a tight pattern and have penetration to kill, and the user can shoot well. I shoot TSS hand loads, in a 10 guage and 50 yards would be my max range. My longest shot has been 41 yards. A rifle works better for long range, but for some reason PA made it illegal. Buy some TSS, pattern it, and you may find what you are looking for. Do not wait too long, the predators are wiping out turkeys like they have done with pheasant and grouse. The more turkeys they kill, the sooner they will end hunting for turkeys by humans.
