Running 8 tactacams reveal x, 7 of them work great and 1 not so well. Who else has one that doesn't work right?. The one I have doesn't pick up cell signals as good as the other ones and doesn't take as many pics, actually have them side by side. Tactacam looked into this issues for me several times and they tried to tell me it was a bad SD card, I even tried a different antenna too, switched them out and same stuff. Bottom line is camera doesn't send or take many pics as the other one on the same tree and Tactacam ain't standing by their warranty. This has been going on for over a year now.....

After about 50 emails over the course of a year Tactacam agreed there was an issue with the cam. They said send it to us but it's out of warranty now so we need your credit card info. I told them this is bs , the camera has been funny for a year and I got the emails from Tactacam on this. They finally agreed to take it as a warranty claim. Fingers crossed here....

Hmmmm….I have 3 of them and they all work fine. I have one that doesn’t take many pics….but if nothing is walking by …. It takes pics of squirrel & bobcat…but a deer in that spot seems rare.
Hopefully they will stand behind their product.

I have had a Reveal camera for about 9 months. It is taking pictures but it had been taking a shot at 11:30 PM w/o anything in the area to trigger it.

I reset everything about 2 weeks ago and now it takes a shot at 11:29 PM, 11:30 PM, and 11:30 AM.

Is there something I missed in the setup? Other than this problem there have been no other issues.

Wow….that’s really odd. I don’t think there’s a setting to have the camera take a pic at a certain time.

Is your software up to date for the model you have?

I just looked at mine and you're right...there is a "Settings Check". I have mine set to daily.....but I thought that was just to update my app as to the camera settings....in case funky stuff happens....like...I dunno...that's why it's called "Funky Stuff"
