This may not be the right forum, but I'm getting a little upset. My feeder is getting over run with coons. I dont know if they are keepig the deer away or not. I am getting pics of deer but not as many as the pics with coons. Is there anyhthing I can do to keep them away beside trapping them? I'm in a good area. Please help me..

You find out the answer let me know... LOL I got videos of them chasing the deer off the feeder. I just quit putting out so much feed. I started just putting enough to last the deer a few days, just to get them to stick around for a few pics to keep track of the bucks growth. basically after about 4 days, the feed is gone, but the coons haven't been back. I DO believe however this fall/winter i'm gonna do some Coon Reduction!

Sorry i dont have any legal ways to help. They are wiping me out. They eat all my bait and lots of pics show them keeping deer away. One guy i know poisons them at his bait site , i won't say what he uses but he gets rid of them. I had 25lbs of corn at one cam , the info strip showed they ate it all in one night, only deer pics i had showed deer after it was gone taking a sniff and going away. Thats why i can't wait till apples are ready ,the deer love them and coons don't much.Got a buddy with a good coonhound and we are going to hit them hard this winter.I tried a couple kinds of blocks and they even roll them out of camera view.If they have any grain in them they eat them faster than the deer do.
