I sign mine with a Sharpie using permanent ink. Mine are stapled to the tree with enough staples to secure the edges so the wind doesn't get behind them and tear them loose. I check the lines and repost as necessary every two years or so.[/QUOTE


This.....We do exactly the same, and ours have been up for 8 years now without any problems, we go around the property and check them every now and then, just to make sure a trespassers have not ripped them down....
