Granted the site is not user friendly.
What I have done is - first of all, create a folder and Bookmark the PGC site.
Then as I access the site - if I find something that will be of value such as: burn maps, harvest data, Middlecreek etc, I save those under the PGC bookmark. They can then be accessed in the future without all the hunting and pecking.
Just my 2 cents.
By the way, I also save any YouTube videos that I feel apply to the general subject.
I haven't been able to figure out how to find anything I was looking for let alone figure out how to bookmark something if a miracle occurred and I did find what I was looking for. The search feature has proved to be completely worthless.

thats helpful but we shouldnt have to do that. i think we should just call ask for the info we are trying to find or have them navigate along with us over the phone. the system will get fixed faster that way.

All PA government websites were migrated to a standard commonwealth website. This was done in a fairly sweeping action with little input from the agency. IT or whoever manages the website made the changes, so they are not really familiar with every department or bureau of the state. Changes are being made on the back end to restore/correct missing information, but it’ll taken time since this happened to other agencies as well.
I work for the state and they did this to our website too, with little to no input from us until after it was done. They loaded in a bunch of broken links and connections.

You men should try and find ANY Waterfowl Reports from even last year...much less from 5 years ago. Before the changeover I too had the pages bookmarked for easy reference, now I simply can't find them. Search feature sucks!!

To access PDF reports on waterfowl data from the Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), you can visit their website and navigate to the "Wildlife" section, then "Birds" and finally "Waterfowl," where you will find various annual reports detailing waterfowl population trends, banding data, and harvest estimates across different regions of Pennsylvania; these reports are usually titled "Annual Wildlife Management Reports" and can be found under the "Media Reports & Surveys" subsection.

Go ahead and try to follow the above instructions.
Here's the "Wildlife" section.

Click on Wildlife and this is what shows up.
But wait...I'm looking for "Birds"!

There is no "birds". I'm stuck before I get started!

Goosehunter,
I noted that in your example you cited a PDF report you found by accident: Project Code 06517, Job Code 51705.
I did a PGC search on that item and got 14 PDF reports. The first one regarded CWD. But all the rest dealt with geese.
This help?

That works.
Most are 25 years old but it's a start. I'll save that page...thank you.
Now how about ducks?
