Yea. I think I would've had the buck entered as a typical, though.
See what you mean, it's certainly more typical than non-typical. Sometimes you just have to go with how a rack scores best comparatively within the specs of the categories. Not saying that's the case with this buck, jus sayin'.
A cousin of mine has a buck in both the PA book and P&Y that he killed back here behind the house. It's very non-typical with excessive mass and a big, thick drop tine, but it's listed as a typical because it scored better comparatively that way. Buck was 9.5 years old by tooth cementum method.
