Was thinking about picking up a few of these. Anyone have any experience with them?

I’ve got 3 dozen. They’re REALLY stout. Heavy too.. I run them with super stakes on chains. Never had a pull out. Very very fast. And the fact that there powder coated is awesome. Back when I had time to trap, I was just boiling them and setting…. Use the screens he sells that go for them. Awesome setup

I looked at them several times, never have used them. The weight was my concern. Not because they were too heavy for me to carry, but maybe too heavy to be dangling from a grey fox’s foot. Some canines are pretty docile after getting hooked up, others go haywire. I questioned what might become of a fox’s foot/ leg with a heavy trap attached.

I can't remember catching a grey fox in a Jr, but have caught a few in Jake's. Very pleased with them, and they are just about as heavy, if not heavier than a JR. I just dont think they can manipulate a larger trap like a N.O. BS or a Jake like they can some other brands.

I haven't caught great numbers of them though to see if that's the truth or not. My MB550s it's a 60/40 shot what your going to walk up to.
