After diving into trapping last year, decided it was time to build a fur shed. Years ago I built a dog kennel for my GSP. He now resides in the house and will spend the rest of years in the house. So with that space available, decided it would work as my new fur shed. Finished closing it in on 2 sides, studs, wiring, insulation, old barn boards and used tin from a barn that fell down last year in a heavy snow. It's not perfect but so far I have really enjoyed it. I made a fleshing beam last year out of DWV pipe. It worked very well however I need to figure out a better way to mount. The 23rd can't get here quick enough! I am ready to put some fur in the shed!

The set up I used last year in another shed. I was in a hurry and just threw it together. The PVC beam works really well, and I have no complaints with it. The angle is proably a little step for some but i did not have to bend over last year at all while i was fleshing. I at this point dont know if i want to anchor to the wall or the floor or let it alone? You guys with more experiance will have a few tips and are more than welcome to share.

Great looking shed!
I actually built a garage this year and added a 14' x 16' off the back under my lean too. Still working on it.
I see you have a harbor freight crane mounted on ceiling. I bought one also (440 lb rating) how does it work?

You gents are set up nice for sure. It's time to build one here, I was fleshing yesterday and just kept bumping into the deer hanging behind me, getting crowded and I'd rather keep the fur side seperate from the food side of things here.

Yeah last year I did it in about a 4x4 area in the shed and just about went nuts!! Decided if I am going to be serious about this I am going to need a different set up. The new shed is has enough room for the line I am running. So far I have really enjoyed working in it. Biggest suggestion if your building from scratch is to make sure you have 10 foot ceilings! Makes life alot easier! The ceiling in mine is 9 foot and I make it work , however if I had 1 more foot it would have made things alot nicer.
