Jumping worms ?

They've been here for over 35 years for sure.Ive been digging them up since I was a kid.We called them red jumpers. There was a wet area next to an electric substation where we would dig them up.We figured the eletricity made them crazy, lol. They are the best fishing worms. They jump so much they will split in half in your hand.some will get almost as thick as your pinky towards the end of summer.Best places are along water ways with wet ground and lots of leaf cover.under logs as well.I will use half of one threaded onto a #6 baitholder hook like a jig then fish drifting down stream in the river.Smallmouths and trout eat them up.
