I don't think there is a 'best' county, but I could be wrong. Bedford had been the hotspot but there may be another western county or two that they've picked up in. I've been hunting in Bedford for 7 years, 10-12 weekends a year, and have seen exactly one hog.
Seems like you'd need to have some insider information on a sounder to have much of a chance.

 

I don't recall anyone ever seeing a hog from this site seeing or harvesting one. I believe it’s a myth there are hogs although, I just saw something recently hogs are in 22 counties

 

They would be obvious if they were here, our corn fields would be hammered, worse than those furry black buggers do.
