If archery hunting during the early muzzleloader season, is flo orange a requirement?
The above speaks to the season they're participating in... regardless of weapon used in the season they're participating in. So if a bowhunter is using archery equipment in archery season they're not participating in the firearms season (but using a bow instead of firearm.)From page 8 of the digest...
* Those using archery equipment during deer, bear or elk firearms
seasons must comply with these fluorescent orange requirements.
Since October 19 – 21 is a statewide firearms season for antlerless deer it would seem that you are required to wear orange even if archery hunting.
Maybe look at the posts above yours, what you posted has already been posted, discussed and clarified. And if you really want to know what is lawful read what Timberdoodle posted.Directly from the 2023 2024 hunter trapper digest.
You can only see the lower half of the hunter in that photo. And anyone trying to use a stock promotional photo post as a guide to Flourescent requirements isn't very bright.I can see how this can be conflicting, look at the latest media post on the PGC facebook page, the pic shows a hunter carrying an inline and a bow and wearing no orange at all.
