Rocky Mountain ATV/MC !!!

....ordered wheelset for my 98 Grizzly a few years ago...excellent!

** they sent them mounted and filled...(I just pulled my receipt Nov 2021- and have never had to add air)

 

ordered 4 from Amazon. Went fine.

 

+1 for Rocky Mountain. Not ATV tires for me, but I get all my dirt and dual sport tires from them, and a lot of other parts.

 

Rock Mountain here as well. Use them often. Last set I bought took the wheels and tires to Bastian tire in wellsboro to be mounted. They were extremely angry and rude that I bought the tires online instead of from them, despite making $$ installing. They even installed one tire backwards and tried to slip that by me, they’re idiots. Lost a repeat customer.

 

I'll change my softer dirt tires myself, but street tires, I leave to the pros. My local shop won't get pissy, they simply charge more to install customer supplied tires. I might save a few bucks on the tires by ordering online, but the shop will absorb that with the install, so I usually just order through the shop.

 

Amazon works fine for more common sizes. Mounting them locally afterward usually goes smoothly if you have a shop you trust.

 

Had a shop here in town refuse to mount tires they didn't sell.
Was a 30 years repeat customer that bought a set every other year on the work truck.
Will never go there again.
Helped a buddy mount some atv tires once. We actually had to cut the old ones off. What a nightmare that was.

 

I replaced original Honda tires with Tusk Trilobites on Rocky Mountain. They worked well.

 

First time I did it was in 2010 or so. Now I often order car tires online. Local shops around me don't mind because they get paid for labor but don't need to maintain as much inventory.
