After doing a few 90 dollar oil changes (cost of Polaris oil and filter only)
Kevin
I buy filters by the dozen from Amazon and almost all my ATVs take the same filter. I buy synthetic oil by the gallon from Walmart. I doubt it costs me more than $10 or $12 to change the oil in each of my ATVs.

You should look into doing it yourself. It is not hard.

My cost issue was the particular model I owned was known to have issues with the oiling system and only Polaris oil and filters were recommended for it and that stuff is expensive.

I had some cars and toys that required specific oil from the manufacturer. When I dug deeper it was all BS. I'd check around. I'd bet there are commercial oils that meet or exceed the specs.
