Just a couple quick questions for anyone who has fletched AAE max vanes. Is it a must to use the AAE primer pen? I was going to wipe each vane down with acetone and use the loctite ultra gel control super glue like I have always done with Blazer vanes. I didn’t want to waste my time if it is needed or waste money if I can get away without using it……. Side question… I just got a Bohning tower jig and I now have the ability to put a helical twist on my fletchings. I shoot a Mathews Triax with 60x strings. I will be shooting QAD exodus and Rage Trypans out of this setup.I have the options of 3 degree right helical, 1 degree right offset, 3 degree left helical, and 1 degree left offset. And straight of course. Any recommendations to eliminate some tinkering would be greatly appreciated.
