Can't help on the primer pen....I lnow some vanes can be fussy. I use the same glue and never even cleaned blazers. I've gone back to feathers and will likely shoot them forever.


As far as helical....your string will almost surely want the arrow spinning to the left. Guys will argue that left fletch is better because of that. I argue that a right twist will never loosen my points and out of a tuned bow a right wing and helical will still be more than effective.


If you shoot single bevels, you want the helical or offset to match the bevel.

If the vanes will take the helical, use it. If not, offset is fine. Some small plastic vanes dont like to take a helical.
