Nevermind, went over to Snipers Hide and a Dallas Ice thread was the first one, halfway down had the rifle in a picture I cannot post here. Definitely a K98 in 8mm though looks like it was Czech rather than German.

Definitely a copy cat though as what are the odds two people in less than a month choose to use a Mauser to shoot people?
