That's a great run! My grandfather bought our place in 1947. Build those memories and celebrate all that is great about camp. Just something special about the mountains!

 

1978 Dad purchased the lot for the Wilyspike camp.

 

Congratulations on a time Honored Tradition. My family's camp built in 75. 8 of the original members who have passed pictures hang on wall. We recently have brought up 3 junior hunters, and afew now in college. Makes me feel good seeing them knowing one day like my Grandfather and Uncle's, I to will be on that wall. And the torch will pass to my nephew and younger cousins. My little Dream Camp is across the road. I purposely put the Big double window facing it. Took look over at a Lifetime Dream of love and family memories.

 

50 years is great for a camp, to have one that long means a good bunch of guys. Our camp has been around for 71 years. Sadly, all of our original members have passed. the camp was founded In January 1954, by 3 of my uncles & a couple of their friends. We are all second & third generation members now. We have some great memories, of hunting seasons & just being, at camp together. We have come a long way, in making improvements, with the camp & property, in order to make the hunting better. It seems that our camp tradition is strong & will continue for the foreseeable future. Congrats ! on your 50 years.

 

We had a great weekend! we put 3 cords of wood up,and stain the camp.
Also had a horseshoe tournament,and some ate,drank to much for our age!
