I agree with what is stated about the trailcam use. Part of the allure of them is i find actual hunting very nerve wracking. It is quite literally the only thing I do that causes me significant anxiety and stress. Running the cams is stress free.

8 does in a bean field and one small buck. For a while these does were running in circles. No idea what had em all riled up.

We got skunked again this afternoon. Saw nothing at all. Nothing. I can't even remember my last full day skunker.

Just got a pic of a known 6 year old under my buddies stand at 5:45 pm. His response was “ you gotta be kidding me” 😂😝
Love chasing these animals!

I know its a little early for this but i saw a really good buck after legal hunting hours about 200 yards out in the field. You know its nice when you can see its rack that far away with little light left. I watched him for a few minutes and he put his nose to the ground and was running all over the field like a dog on a bird and ran into the woods.

Made it out for first sit this evening. Had two fawns the size of lab near me most of night. One small buck out in the field. And snuck
Up on 5 more does on the way out.
Back out tomorrow at some point.

What was a six yer old kid doing walking around out in the woods by himself?:confused1:
That’s what I thought, I’m calling his parents.
I all seriousness, my buddy hit this buck 4 years ago as a basket 8 in the head. The arrow deflected and hit the base of his antler. He’s been around regularly for the last four years but we can’t kill this bugger. He has a great 5 point side then an 18 inch bull horn on the other side.🤷🏻‍♂️

Its not too early at all, he could have found a doe thats come in early!

Dad knocked down a small doe. 79 years old, back fusion August 28..worked hard to be able to climb up his hang ons, pull that 48lb compound and put one in the freezer.
