It's in NY and I used to go there as a boy with my family.

My maternal grandmother had her summer home there and we would visit there in the summer.

Its a really cool place and has some of the oldest growth forest in NY other than the Adirondacks. At 128 feet a basswood tree there is the tallest in the US.

It's about 1 hour south of Buffalo and the cattaraugus Creek has Steelhead and native brook trout.

Hunting, kayaking, and white water rafting is also popular there.

At almost 3000 aces with 400 to 500 foot cliffs, over 20 waterfalls, swimming holes, camping , and hiking trails, what's not to like?
