Up for sale is a U.S. Model 1917 EDDYSTONE rifle. From what I can tell all parts are original and Eddystone made (marked with an E). All parts on gun including the stock are in VERY good condition. Guns in similar condition sell on Gun auction sites for $1,500+. This would make a great gun to be in someone’s WW1 collection. Asking $1,300 CASH, located in the Wexford (Allegheny County) area.

I remember when crates full of them were found at the Baldwin-Lima-Hamilton plant office building in Eddystone, PA. They were still in cosmolene. IIRC, they sold them to employees for around $20.00. I worked there in the '60s and this was before my time.
