I have some wood exterior window sills that are rotting. Is it possible to replace them? Any other alternatives besides total window replacement?

Are just the sills bad or additional piece bad too?
Some are easy to replace others are work.

Try rotdoctor.com It is a wood saturation epoxy that penetrates deep and there is a filler to put on after that dries to fill in the rotted areas. look at the descriptions to figure out which product suits your needs. A bit pricey but cheaper than the alternatives. This is assuming the sill is not completely gone and is repairable. Easier than tearing out the sill and replacing. If they are very old windows you may wish to replace for energy efficiency

Bondo makes a wood filler, have used it many times to repair rotten window sills, dig out all the rotten wood, make sure its dry, fill with bondo, sand and paint

If you don't get ALL the rotten wood out before you fill it will continue rotting. This is why the epoxy sealer is applied first then the filler
