Is there a point when it's just too cold to be trapping coon?
Thankswalkercoonhunter said:yes ther is...when it gets cold and stays cold the coon "lay up" or "den up"..this is why they store so much fat....now you will have the males looking for thier sweethearts but i feel your wasting your time after it freezes up most years in december..not saying you cant catch them if you know where some den trees are or have a major food source like deer feeders, grain bins etc...but for the most part the majority will not be moving far..
I sure hope so.longear said:Callmaker they will be moving with this warm snap.
