I started the evening hunt at 3pm in a stand that sits up on top of a hill. The stand is on a field edge in a group of trees that have a few red oaks that are still dropping nuts. I saw 5 doe right away but the wind and cold were really getting to me. About 4:15 I decided I had enough and climbed down to head for a stand that is in the bottom of the valley below a group of pines. Unfortunately I bumped 3 doe out from below the stand while I was walking the trail to the stand. Everything was quiet till about 6:15 when I heard a noise behind me. I turn my head and see this boy headed up the hill behind me. I grab the Ghost 350 off it's hook and made a bleat. He stops dead at 15 yards. That's when he caught a rage behind his shoulder. Went 30 yards and piled up.

Here he is on cam earlier in the year

Good Job!! Nice buck! I know it is hard staying out in such crappy conditions. I know it tries your patience and will.
