Thinking about replacing the window in my home.

Several ways to do this.

I usually do these sort of things myself, but my time and the need to get this right the first time, and installed in a timely manner has me thinking about contracting it out.

Had Lowes in to do an estimate and it turned out to be a contractor not even using the Lowes or "name brand" windows. Actually, never even heard of that brand of window they quoted.

Has anyone used any of the following or know of a contractor business in the SC part of the state (Franklin Co) that does good work with good product?

Has anyone used these windows or have them in their house? What are your thoughts on them quality wise?

Local listing here:

HomeRite

Window World of Central PA

Or others.

Thanks

We had Pella windows installed about 4 years ago, they're excellent. At my wife's home(we rent it out) we had Paradigm windows installed. No issues with those either.

Certainteed windows are now made by MI

As for the contractor part, we use my brother who has a remodeling business...but you can go to the dealers and they'll put you in contact with their certified contractors.

Love my Anderson's. They were originally new home only. About 6 or 7 years ago they started making replacements. Their wood casement windows look great and last forever.
