cool!
they are nice but not quite the same. they have a tang safety and rebounding hammer same as the late model 94's. browning made some a few years ago in rifle and carbine length. they are nice as well. i like the 71's. best lever gun winchester made. being a 35 cal fan, i really like the 348 too. too bad it didn't get chambered in other guns.
