Twice in the last 2 weeks there has been vandalism (I consider it terrorism) at well drilling sites here in PA. According to todays news there was one in Clinton Co., valves opened and pond liners cut. Don't they consider the damage to the enviroment or do they feel their damage is less than the well drillers?

Stupidity; Revenge; Mindless vandalism; Eco-terrorism, or some of all three.

Someone explain why those who claim to be performing radical acts to protect the environment, would set fire to SUVs at car dealers' lots as an act of protest?

Apparently the air/water pollution resulting from their actions, somehow "don't count"?

Some of these eco-terrorists clans are just rediculous! They would actually destroy the enviroment to make a statement rather than speak rationally. I reallize gas drilling may have an effect on local water resources but this is not the 1900's and all the unregulated coalmining activity. Although they may be under-funded DNR is trying their best to keep an eye on the well drilling. Instances of some contamination have happened in Clearfield County and some other areas but these companies have been fined heavily.
