When Manning throws 7 touchdown passes it was the greatest thing ever, when Foles did it it was no big deal???

Actually, it is more impressive when Foles does it because of his lesser skill at the position and the inferior weapons he has around him.

Because we've already seen Matt Flynn and gotten burned.

Because P. Manning is football royalty. (I thought everybody knew that
)

Here's the order to the throne.

1.King Archie (I'm still trying to figure out what he ever did)

2. Prince Peyton. The annointed one. (by the broadcasters)

3. Prince Eli (who should now be 2nd in line to the throne since he has 2 super bowl rings and Peyton has just 1.)

The NFL will probably fold after the Mannings retire.

Another factor is that Manning did it against the defending SB champs in the Ravens, before everyone realized the Ravens aren't any good, and Foles did it against the Oakland Raiders who everyone knew they haven't been any good for a long time.

My gosh, the Raiders struggled to beat the Steelers at home, shows how bad they really are.

And, Foles plays for a team who is run by "Chip". Any team run by a Chip is forever relegated to second-class status. If Chip would get his hair trimmed into that "Spock" look that Tomlin sports, they might relegate the Eagles to the Atlantic-10. If you are a "Chip", you need a more manly buzz cut than the Spock.

Doesn't matter what team it was done against.

It's only been done 7 times by 7 QB's in NFL history.

And one of them was Nick Foles. In today's pass-happy NFL, shows just the lack of degree of difficulty associated with putting up big passing numbers.

Probably over the years a lot more could have done it, just that once up by four scores, they just work the clock.

And, nothing like the inability to punch it in, how many times does Manning or someone throw that two-yard TD?

The other factor is that it already happened this year.

It is a great accomplichment especially for a QB with less ability like Foles but it happened once already so the hype died off.

Think about No-Hitters in baseball, it is becoming so common place these days it doesn't even make top story sometimes. When the hype hits early it fizzles out for the next guy/gal.
