Glock 27Gen 4...40 caliber!

I refuse to become the victim of any worthless thief, drug addict, lunatic, terrorist, or enraged idiot.

I will not huddle in some corner praying or whimpering, "Please don't kill me!"

I WILL have the opportunity to protect myself and my loved ones...Thank you Founding Fathers!

Merry Christmas Everyone!

John

I was in a local store and saw a young man with a firearm sticking out from the small of his back.I yelled hey your piece is showing. He covered it and left the store.A few women in the store were afraid.I told them to relax,I'm licensed and have one in case he tried something stupid.I stayed until those women left and advised the clerk to call police if he returned. So I guess my answer is I was that day.Kid looked to be about14-15 years old.My thought was to try and remove the possible threat from the situation to avoid a confrontation. It worked this time.I let him know everyone knew he had a gun.My guess is he knew I was also carrying since I called him out in public.

I was just able to get a Pa. cc 2 weeks ago. Everyone is probably thinking big deal to me but I'm from Maryland as some of you might know. I talked to the sheriff in Bedford county few years ago and he told me no since I was a non resident he couldn't do. I was trying at time since my cabin was broken in to. Anyway Md. did lighten up a little and as a business owner I qualified to apply with a good chance. Md. only would issue if your life was threatened, raped, or handling large sum of money. What I had to do was first get finger printed, take a course and pass it on hand guns of course private pay to private instructor, then fill out application, supplying proof of being in business, commercial checking account, dposit slips, articles of Incorporation. Then after 90 days of your 75.00 application is in there you are interviewed by the Md. State Police. If all goes well you get your 2 year permit and 90 days before it expires you apply again.
The week after deer season I received mine in the mail , I then called up to Bedford office they said no problem. I went up and in 10 minutes I had my Pa. CC, heck it was like getting a fishing license. You people in Pa. are very lucky to have this for 20.00 for 5 years for Self Defence purpose. Mine does say for Md. while conducting business but I can do that almost anytime. Please don't let your state get like Md. I do feel pretty good now about pulling in to m y cabin armed.

I carry AIWB, meaning I carry inside the waistband at 12-1 oclock. I carry in either a philster skeleton or a T.REX Arms Raptor holster. A neo-mag is a clip with a magnet allowing you to carry a magazine very similar to a pocket knife with a clip. The magnet holds the clip in place and u can pull the magazine free from your pocket. I can actually reload quite fast with the neo-mag. I carry a glock 17 mag with a taran tactical +5 baseplate, allowing me to carry even more than 20 should I choose, but 20 feeds the best. Anymore and the spring tension creates a difficult reload. For anyone that carries a gun I highly suggest a flashlight and tourniquet. I carry a RAT tourniquet, very small and light weight but can be the difference between living and dying even more than your weapon. Practice proper application of said tourniquet also.

Oh yes for sure and Md. needs a black eye for that one. I did it right by having each states. My question to you is I previously and still have a Utah permit from taking that class, etc. Is it legal in Pa. to cc with the Utah? I thought your attorney general decided not to recognize it.

the Utah NON-RESIDENT permit is not honored in PA,

the Utah RESIDENT permit is honored in PA according to the link i provided.

Also the PA resident permit is honored in Utah.

i dont know why the Non-Resident permit would not be honored. might want to ask the class instructors if you have their contact number.
