Im dropping the compound after 25 years and Im going to try hunting with a recurve. Ive purchased 2 bows.... 50# bear kodiak mag and a 50# kodiak hunter. I also still have my 1st bow a bear super mag 48. My question is what type of arrow to shoot? I really would like to shoot wood arrows but remember how fragile they were when i was younger. What are some of your opinions on this?

They are a bit tougher than you'd expect, cuz I used to feel the same, until I started making and using my own.

Now I just buy laminated birch, heavy and durable.

I like the Easton Super Slams, best aluminum hunting arrow out there and deffinetly more durable than wood.
