I believe you can use the old ones on Sundays.
You can use last years, you just can't carry it......
I`m not worried. I have a stack of them I have to use up before I need new ones......
The post office in that county is terrible.
They said if I put an express on it they would get it sooner.
Why is that WMU sitting on the tags?
Why wont they answer my phone calls?
I put it in the mailbox in front of the county seat.
All my buddy's go theirs and it was in the same envelope.
Why are their so many tags allocated when the first round did not even begin?
When will the second round begin, since I did not get my first?
I have a DMAP left over, and none will be assigned this year, so that one deer wont hurt their numbers...
I got mine. I plan to shred it and eat it so that it can't be used to kill one of the deer that don't exist.
What is with all these new regs. Why do we now need a license for Doe? I hope we are still allowed one for cabin meat. Waugh!
Lol. I love these threads!!!
I think they should move to "Kill a doe to earn a Buck".....no more buck tag with your regular license...you have to earn it.

Here's how it works:

Kill a doe....take one ear to the county treasurer's office...they send it to Harrisburg for DNA testing to confirm it was a doe. The DMV will then issue you a buck tag on-line that you have to print out and carry with you. The process guarantees you will have your buck tag in time for use during the concurrent spring gobbler season of the following year.

Quicker than most County Treasurer's offices.......
My first round check cleared the bank yesterday!! Will be dropping Second Round Unsold in the mail today so it should be in the treasurers hands this coming Monday.
i always send my anterless application by certified mail, requesting signature delivery and return receipt. place everything in the pink envelope and then in a express envelope, with overnight delivery guaranteed.

sometimes i "lose" a ten dollar bill that winds up inside the express envelope. i use to tape the envelope to a box of homemade cookies addressed to the county treasurer but they complained about their weight and cholesterol.

i never have a problem getting my doe tags.
Kill a doe....take one ear to the county treasurer's office...
Ya know there's another part ya could maybe send in, that wouldn't require any testing.....

I got a few years' worth of unused doe tags that should be used up, before I hafta buy any more of 'em.

I believe that we would start to see a lot of ear-less road kill does!!!

I'm leaning more towards Kill a buck, earn a doe license application. Any buck . . . spike, button doesn't matter. October and November will be open to any legal weapon with December reserved for flintlock or long bow and January reserved for compound or crossbow.
