Anyone know of any place in the Williamsport or South East Pa area where I can get some winter rye? Looking to get some to plant as a nurse crop for a clover patch.

Its a little early maybe. That is something you might want to plant more like mid September or so or even later?

I think it was the end of August when I got 10 bags for a buddy here in Lancaster County. That was at P.L. Rohrers in Smoketown

I know it's a little early but i need to get some clover in soon while I have time. Need a good but cheap nurse crop to keep everything from washing off the side of the hill.

Have you considered buying horse oats? They are oats for horses, but they also work for food plots.

They'll freeze out over winter tho.
