12, 16, 20 28 or 410?

i was looking at the Stoeger Double Defense, freakin sweet gun, and with a short 20" barrell it could be used in the house to blow a bad guys head off if need be...

this year, contender .410, 10" barrel. last four years, tristar .410 o/u with screw in chokes. 14 years before that, 20 gauge flintlock trade gun. the dog is "retired", so will probably sell the contender. rabbit hunting is the only reason i got it this year.

If birds are running around Browning Citori Feather 20 Ga. Otherwise either Ruger Red Label 28 Ga or Encore 410 12" barrel.

I bought the Encore last year and it's fun but... Weighs as much as the Red Label and the Citori I have. So, I'd recommend it for someone that wants a change/fun but not for a 1 gun dedicated for rabbit hunting.

I'd really love to get a uggie in 28 ga. I think that would be my perfect rabbit gun. Anyone got a used one for sale?!?
