I'm guessing it is a moth of some kind, but I have never seen one like this before. I took these pictures at work last night. The "moth" was on the back of our building. I swear, I've seen some weird looking creatures on this wall. Whatever it is was a good 4" long if not a little longer.

Luna moth....thanks. Yes, it was pretty awesome. I was walking in the back door and it was clinging to the wall. We get lots of interesting creatures on the wall, presumably drawn by the flourescent lights.

Yes luna moth,we always have a few of them drop in on us at night by the fire
