Mainly safety in that state parks are visited by thousands of people especially during the months when groundhog hunting is at its peak.
What is the reason for no GH in State Parks?
Just wondering as I've always noticed all the state parks that allow hunting strictly prohibit ground hog hunting. Is it due to it being open season and/or some general concern about safety?

Guess they dont like the idea of 500y shots with any cal rifle you want.
