What 9mm handgun has the BEST "out of the box" trigger?

I've owned several different handguns over the years and know that triggers make or break a good handgun. All of the guns I had at some point had the triggers re-worked.

I haven't bought a new handgun in years and was wondering if any manufacturer has recognized that issue and has come to the top above all others in addressing it.

Are you interested in a striker fired (e.g. Glock) or hammer fired (e.g. Sig Sauer) ?

Sigs are noted for very good DA/SA triggers. Kahrs have a long but smooth trigger, Ruger SR9Cs have a light trigger, with good break, to me Glocks are somewhat mushy and mediocre, but many folks swear by them (and others at them).

There are many characteristics (weight, break, travel, smoothness, reset length, etc.), that almost require that a person try different models and see what works/feels best to them.

I personally prefer a DA/SA Sig Sauer trigger ... but again that is only a personal preference, and many others would like something else better. My advice would be to go to a good gun store and try some for yourself, working both the trigger and the overall grip feel, to find which works best. Actually shooting different models would be best ... but that's not always possible.

Browning Pro. BEST FACTORY trigger for a non-comp/custom pistol I have EVER SOLD...SA broke like glass at around 16 ounces and DA was clean, smooth and didn't stack.
